**THE PLEASURE OF THE VOICE with HARLAN CHAMBERS

Where is it, the pleasure to sing? We will go on an adventure together, searching for this pleasure close to the heart and beyond the limits of the voice. A warm-up that integrates the body and voice. Games and theatre improvisations that release the full vocal (and creative) potential. Roy Hart Voice teacher candidate Harlan Chambers is excited to offer this stage, inspired by a mélange of his training with the Centre International Artistique Roy Hart, the biomechanics of hatha yoga, and le jeu of Ecole Philippe Gaulier. Ira's experience provides a unique doorway into the authentic world of the clown. Ira has created numerous theatre projects that use clown in all variety of ways from classical theatre to experimental. He was the National Trainer of Australia's Clown Doctors. In addition to his background in classical acting, and physical theatre, Ira has performed as a clown in a variety of skills such as acrobatics with two Chinese acrobats, juggling, dance, mime, singing, music including in Cirque du Soleil as the Dead Clown in Corteo, aerial acts in Corteo as both the Dead Clown and the White Clown.
